COMMON QUESTIONS
WEDDING QUESTIONS
What are the steps to book you for our wedding?
To secure your wedding date we require a 25% deposit, with the remaining balance due two weeks prior to your wedding. Get in touch and we’ll forward you a contract & invoice to make it all official. It’s that easy!
Would you recommend a second shooter?
If you are able to, yes. A second photographer &/or videographer can document groom prep in real time (otherwise your groom might have to get ready super early so we can do both). They also capture different angles during the Ceremony and able to spend time capturing cocktail hour & your guests (while you are off during the Bridal Portrait session), adding more variety to your final gallery/film.
When can we expect our photos/film back after our wedding?
Your images and/or film will be ready 8-10 weeks after your wedding date, through a high resolution online gallery. From here you will be able to view, download, watch & share your gallery with family and friends.
Do you charge travel fees?
Travel fees apply when your wedding venue is more than 1.5 hours away from our studio on the Gold Coast.
Do we get to choose the music for our film?
We carefully select the music for you from our library of copyright free music (which is fully licensed for sharing). We choose music that reflects you as a couple & your special day. If you have any particular genre or vibe in mind, please do not hesitate to share with us.
Do you offer raw video footage?
We do not release RAW footage. We do however offer the option to purchase the ceremony and/or speeches reel for an additional fee.
Do you outsource your editing?
We edit everything in house. As a result, we limit the number of weddings we take on each year.

LIFESTYLE QUESTIONS
What can we expect at the session?
We take a super relaxed approach to these sessions. They include a lot of chatting, hugging, laughing & more often than not, running! We guide you through the motions of where to stand, look & walk. We’re all about capturing those magical moments that aren’t too forced. That’s where the magic happens.
What should we wear?
Our style of photography favours a lighter, neutral toned colour palette. Think creams, whites, greys, light denims, blues & earthy tones such as olive greens, tans and blush pinks. Avoid super bright colours, heavy patterns and bold logos.
When can we expect our images to be delivered?
Your images will be ready 3 weeks after your session, through a high resolution online gallery.
Where should we choose to do the session?
Newborn sessions take place in your home, in different areas of your home that we find have good light once we arrive. For all other sessions, we have a selection of outdoor locations that we suggest around the northern rivers & southern Gold Coast. If you have a particular place in mind you can just let us know.
What is the best time for the session?
For in home newborn sessions, we recommend the morning when most of the home is at its brightest. For all other outdoor sessions, we suggest early morning just after sunrise or late afternoon when the sun is dropping.
How do we book our session with you?
Please complete our booking form and we’ll be in touch with a contract & invoice. We require a 50% deposit to book the session date, with the remaining 50% due anytime before the session itself.
